Mapping everything

The project began with a Map for an exhibition in public space during the UdK Rundgang (University of the Arts’ end of year show) in 2011. Out of this, in collaboration with Christina Werner and Eric Ellingsen from “IFREX”, we created a catalogue and documentation. “Mapping Everything” documents a collaborative, educational experiment between the Institut für Raumexperimente and the Institut für Landschaftsarchitektur, ETH Zürich.

The book is split into three parts: part one consists of 57 cards, each card represents a work and a cover at once. Part two is the documentation of the project and contains a talk with Olafur Eliasson and Günther Vogt. Hundreds of pictures and other texts from the process accompany; a workshop report from Raumlabor for example. A short description for every work with documentation images that can be linked to the work cards. Part three is a poster depicting the chaos of the occupied room during the Rundgang. The three parts are held together with a wooden sleeve.
